આત્મજ્ઞાન

આ પુસ્તકમાં સંતમત પર ઈ.સ.1948-1951 દરમ્યાન મહારાજ જગતસિંહજીએ આપેલી સમજૂતી પ્રસ્તુત કરવામાં આવી છે. પુસ્તકમાં એમણે આપેલા સાત સત્સંગોનો સમાવેશ છે તથા બીજા અઢાર સત્સંગોમાંથી ચૂંટેલાં વચનો આપવામાં આવ્યાં છે. તેઓ રસાયણશાસ્ત્રના પ્રાધ્યાપક હતા, એટલે વૈજ્ઞાનિક દ્રષ્ટિકોણને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને અપાયેલા તેમના સત્સંગો ટૂંકા અને સ્પષ્ટ રહેતા. સત્સંગીઓ અને જિજ્ઞાસુઓને તેમણે લખેલા પત્રો તથા વાર્તાલાપોમાંથી પસંદ કરેલાં વચનોનો એક સંગ્રહ પણ “આધ્યાત્મિક પુષ્પો” નામની પુસ્તિકામાં પ્રસ્તુત છે. મહારાજ જગતસિંહજીની વાણીમાં એમનામાં રહેલા ઉચ્ચ કોટિના પ્રેમ તથા સંવેદનશીલતાનાં દર્શન થાય છે. તેઓ ઉચ્ચ કક્ષાની આધ્યાત્મિક નિર્મળતા પર ખૂબ ભાર આપતા હતા. ‘સદગુરુ’, ‘આત્માનું પતન’ તથા ‘આત્માને નિજધામ લઈ જવા માટેના ઉપાય’ – જેવા વિષયો પર એમનાં વચનો અત્યંત પ્રભાવશાળી બન્યાં છે.

This book presents the Sant Mat teachings of Maharaj Jagat Singh between 1948 and 1951. A chemistry professor by profession, Maharaj Jagat Singh's spiritual discourses were succinct, scientific, and forthright. Seven of these are presented in their entirety along with excerpts from 18 others. Also included are his selected letters to foreign disciples, axioms of spirituality, and notes from his conversations. Maharaj Jagat Singh's words reveal his great love and compassion as well as his insistence on the highest level of spiritual purity. He speaks vividly about the Masters, the downfall of the soul, and how the soul can return to its home.
