આ પુસ્તકમાં મહારાજ સાવનસિંહજીએ ઈ.સ.1919થી 1948ના સમયગાળા દરમ્યાન લખેલા પત્રોનો સંગ્રહ છે, જે તેમણે યુરોપ અને અમેરિકામાં વસતા તેમના શિષ્યોને લખ્યા હતા. તે વખતે સદગુરુને રૂબરૂ મળવાનો અવસર આ સત્સંગીઓને મળતો ન હતો, એટલે તેમને માર્ગદર્શન આપવા માટે આ પત્રો જ અત્યંત ઉપયોગી સાધન હતા. પત્રોમાં સંતમતના ઉપદેશને લગતા મુદ્દાઓ પર ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી છે. સાંસારિક કર્તવ્યોનું પાલન કરતા રહીને, ભજન-સ્મરણનો અભ્યાસ તથા માલિકની ઇચ્છાને આધીન રહેવા બાબતે માર્ગદર્શન આપવામાં આવ્યું છે. પુસ્તકમાં આપેલા વ્યાવહારિક સલાહસૂચનો તથા મહારાજજીનાં પ્રેમભર્યાં વચનો સમય, સ્થળ, રાષ્ટ્ર અને સંસ્કૃતિઓની સીમાઓથી પર હોવાથી પરમાર્થના માર્ગ પર ચાલતા વર્તમાન જિજ્ઞાસુઓ માટે પણ એટલાં જ સાર્થક છે.

This book is a collection of letters written by Maharaj Sawan Singh to his disciples in Europe and America between 1919 and 1948. These letters were the main source of guidance for his early disciples who did not have the opportunity to meet their Master in person. The letters discuss all aspects of the Sant Mat teachings, giving guidance on meditation and living in the will of the Lord while discharging one's worldly obligations. Not limited by time or place, by national or cultural differences, the practical advice and loving words contained in this book are equally relevant to modern devotees on the spiritual path.
