Paltu Sahib

A spiritual master and teacher, Paltu was a grocer of northern India who lived from 1710 to 1780. This volume gives an account of Paltu's life and teachings, along with the translation of approximately 150 of his poems. He taught the universal mystic path of love, meditation on the inner Name, and devotion to the living spiritual Master. He was critical of orthodox religious practices and rituals, and for this he was ultimately burnt alive by the religious authorities. His eloquent poetry freely uses images drawn from his daily life and work, creating often paradoxical, beautifully crafted, and powerful works.

Responsibility of the Customer

If an order is shipped by us but is returned back to us by the courier company or postal authorities due to any of the reasons listed below, the customer will be responsible to pay the return shipping charges:

  • Customer refuses to accept the parcel
  • Customer refuses to pay any additional import duties/fees levied in their country
  • Incorrect address/contact details provided by customer
  • Non-availability of customer to receive the parcel after repeated delivery attempts
A COVID surcharge of $15 will be levied on all orders under $30. This is due to the closure and/or reduced services of the postal systems in many countries due to the coronavirus pandemic. This has caused an overall unreliability of the global postal system, which formerly provided low-cost shipping.
