Sant Charan Das
 संत चरणदाससंत चरणदास जी (इ. स. 1703-1782) उत्तर भारतातील एक प्रसिद्ध संत होते. त्यांचा जन्म राजस्थानातील अलवर या गावी झाला होता. त्यांचे बहुतांश आयुष्य दिल्लीत व्यतीत झाले, परंतु त्यांनी दूरवरच्या अनेक यात्राही केल्या. कित्येक हिंदू व मुसलमान शासक त्यांचे शिष्य होते. इतर संतांप्रमाणे त्यांनीही कधीही कोणाकडून भेटस्वरूप काही घेतले नाही व निर्भीडपणे सत्संग केले, तसेच खऱ्या जिज्ञासूंना नामदानही दिले. सदर पुस्तक त्यांच्या यशस्वी जीवनाचे वर्णन करीत, त्यांच्या शिकवणुकीवरही प्रकाश टाकते.In the eighteenth century – a time in Delhi and throughout India that was marked by political turmoil and religious persecution – Sant Charandas explained in simple words the age-old principles of spirituality.
