रोचक संवाद शैली में लिखी गई इस छोटी-सी पुस्तक में शब्दमार्गी गुरुओं के मूल उपदेश को तीन अध्यायों में प्रस्तुत किया गया है। आध्यात्मिक पहलू में वास्तविक निराकार सत्य के रूप में शब्द की और हमारी अलग हस्ती के भ्रम की चर्चा की गई है। मन का क्षेत्र में यह समझाया गया है कि विचारों से भरे मन और उसकी बहिर्मुखी प्रवृत्तियों से परे कैसे जाना है। भौतिक संसार में हमारे भाग्य को बनानेवाले कर्मसिद्धांत के साथ-साथ पुनर्जन्म, स्वतंत्र इच्छा, सतगुरु, चमत्कार और नामदान संबंधी धारणाओं पर चर्चा की गई है। “कैफे माया से तीन ब्रह्मांड संबंधी कहानियों” में मुर्शिद (गुरु) और जीव (शिष्य) की कैफे माया में चाय पर हुई बातचीत के दौरान काल्पनिक कहानियों के माध्यम से इन धारणाओं को प्रस्तुत किया गया है। इस पुस्तक में आध्यात्मिक सत्यों का आधुनिक संदर्भ में वर्णन किया गया है।

Written in an engaging conversational style, this short book (122 pages) presents the basic teachings of the Shabd masters in three chapters: The Spiritual Dimension, which discusses Shabd as the true formless reality, and our illusion of a separate self; The Realm of the Mind, which explains how to go beyond the thinking mind and its outward tendencies; and The World of Matter, which discusses the karma ‘program’ that creates our destiny, and the concepts of reincarnation, free will, the master, miracles, initiation.   Three “Cosmic Tales from Cafe Maya” present these concepts through imaginary stories about the interaction of Murshid (the master) and Jiva (his disciple) as they meet over a cup of tea at Cafe Maya. The book presents spiritual truths in a contemporary way.
