સેવા

સેવાનો અર્થ છે ‘નિઃસ્વાર્થભાવે કાર્ય કરવું’. સેવાનો મતલબ ફક્ત પોતાની ઇચ્છાઓ અને જરૂરિયાતો પર ધ્યાન આપવાને બદલે બીજાંની સેવા કરવી તે છે. પરમપિતા પ્રત્યે પ્રેમ અને ભક્તિભાવ રાખવો એ જ સેવાનો પાયો છે. આ પુસ્તકમાં જુદા જુદા પ્રકારની સેવાનાં અનેક પાસાં તથા પરસ્પર તાલમેળ, આત્મસંયમ અને હુકમમાં રહેવા પર પ્રકાશ પાડવામાં આવ્યો છે. સાથે સાથે પરસ્પર સહયોગ, સાંભળવાનું મહત્ત્વ અને સંતુલન જાળવવા પર પણ ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી છે તેમજ સૌથી મહત્ત્વની સેવા — ભજન-સ્મરણ કરવા માટે પણ પ્રેરણા આપવામાં આવી છે.

Seva is literally ‘service’ or ‘selfless action’. Seva means serving others rather than focusing solely on our own wants and needs.
