ਸੂਫ਼ੀ ਦਰਵੇਸ਼ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੁਸੈਨ

16ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਸੂਫ਼ੀ ਸੰਤ ਹਜ਼ਰਤ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਹੁਸੈਨ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਸੂਫ਼ੀ ਸੰਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੜਾ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਲਾਮ ਬਹੁਤ ਹਰਮਨ ਪਿਆਰਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਕਿਸਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਕੱਵਾਲ ਮਸਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਲਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਜਾਗਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ: ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ, ਕਾਮਲ ਮੁਰਸ਼ਦ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵ, ਬਿਰਹਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਮ ਭਗਤੀ। ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕਲਾਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੇਖਕ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।

Hazrat Shah Hussain, a sixteenth-century Sufi mystic, was highly regarded among the Sufi saints of his time. His poetry is very popular and is passionately sung by the qawwals of India and Pakistan. This book focuses on the spiritual aspects of his poetry, covering topics such as: the purpose of human birth, importance of a perfect murshid, the pain of separation, and devotion to Nam. It includes many of his compositions along with commentary by the author.
