Sant Dariya (Marwar Wale)

Dariya Sahib (of Marwar) is known as one of the great saints of India. He lived in the region of Marwar in the state of Rajasthan during the 17th and 18th centuries. Like the teachings of other mystics, his teachings are also based on the truth that the soul is a part of the Lord, but owing to its karmic load and the influence of maya it has forgotten its origin. The disciple can fulfil the purpose of his human birth only by taking refuge in a living perfect Master. Dariya Sahib (Marwar wale) was opposed to external ritualistic practices. Based on his personal experiences, he has explained in clear and simple language the deep mystical subjects of love, the anguish of separation, the practice of Nam, and the importance of the Satguru. The objective of this book is to familiarize seekers of spirituality with his teachings and poetry.
