ਸੁਖਮਨੀ

ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਸ਼ਾਹਕਾਰ ਰਚਨਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦਾ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ—ਸੁਖ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਮਣੀ। ਇਹ ਰਚਨਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਮਨੋਕਾਮਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗ੍ਰਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਾਮ ਦਾ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਇਕ ਬੂੰਦ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵਿਚ ਘੁਲ-ਮਿਲ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਜੋਤ-ਸਰੂਪ ਆਤਮਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਕੇਂਦਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਪਰਮ ਜੋਤ ਵਿਚ ਸਮਾ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਜੀਂਦੇ-ਜੀਅ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਯਾਨੀ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਸੁਖਮਨੀ ਦੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਦੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਸਾਗਰ ਵਿਚ ਡੂੰਘੀ ਚੁੱਭੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਹੀਰੇ-ਮੋਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ।
