सिंध की त्रिवेणी

सिंध की त्रिवेणी में सिंध के तीन महान् सूफ़ी संतों—शाह अब्दुल लतीफ़, सचल सरमस्त तथा सामी—की आध्यात्मिक वाणियों का संगम है। पुस्तक में पहले इन संतों का संक्षिप्त परिचय दिया गया है और फिर उनकी वाणी के पद दिए गए हैं, जिनमें उनकी शिक्षा और विरह वेदना का सार्थक चित्रण देखने को मिलता है। पदों का मूल देवनागरी लिपि में है और साथ में उनका हिंदी अनुवाद दिया गया है। इन सूफ़ी संत-कवियों ने इस भौतिक संसार को आध्यात्मिक ऊँचाइयों से जोड़ने के लिए शब्दों का एक बड़ा सुंदर और नाज़ुक पुल बनाया है, जो मनुष्यों को ऊपर उठने की प्रेरणा प्रदान करता है। पुस्तक में बड़े सुंदर पद चुन-चुनकर रखे गए हैं जिनकी रचना वहदत (अस्तित्व की एकता), मुर्शिद, इश्क़, विरह (बिछोड़ा), बिनती और मिलाप आदि विषयों को लेकर की गई है।

Sindh ki Triveni is a confluence of the spiritual kalams of three great Sufi saints of Sindh – Shah Abdul Latif, Sachal Sarmast and Sami.  A short introduction of each saint is given in the beginning of the book; the poetry (with the original in Devnagari script and Hindi translation) that follows is a meaningful study of their teachings and longing. The Sufi poets have painted a delicate word-bridge between the earthly and the spiritual, awakening the human urge to transcend. This excellent selection of verses revolves around the topics of vehdat (oneness), Master, love, longing, separation, sadness, prayers, union and so forth.
