ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮਾਰਥ ਦੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੂਖਮ ਪਹਿਲੂ “ਹੁਕਮ” ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਦੇ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਜਨਾਬੱਧ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਯਤਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਲੇਖਕ ਨੇ ਇਕੋ ਜੇਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ - ਹੁਕਮ, ਭਾਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਰਜ਼ਾ ਵਿਚਲੇ ਸੂਖਮ ਅੰਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਵੇਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਾਰਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।

This book systematically explains the significance and subtle aspects of ‘Hukam’ – a fundamental concept of spirituality.  In the ordinary nomenclature we can draw the meaning of Hukam as an order. In this book we have followed the higher meaning of Hukam which is His Will – which is the Shabd.
