ਰਾਮਚਰਿਤ ਮਾਨਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼

ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ 16ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਹੋਏ ਮਹਾਨ ਸੰਤਕਵੀ ‘ਗੋਸਵਾਮੀ ਤੁਲਸੀਦਾਸ’ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਰਚਨਾ ਰਾਮਚਰਿਤਮਾਨਸ ਵਿਚ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਵਿ-ਕਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਡੂੰਘੇ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਦਾ ਅਨੋਖਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਣ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਰਾਮਚਰਿਤਮਾਨਸ ਵਿਚ ਰਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਵਣ ਦੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਰਮਨ ਪਿਆਰੀ (ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ) ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਧਾਰ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਰੂਹਾਨੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਤੱਤ ਪਰੋਏ ਹਨ। ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਰੂਹਾਨੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੁਢਲੇ ਤੱਤ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ-ਜਨਮ ਦਾ ਮਹੱਤਵ, ਮਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਇਆ ਦੇ ਬੰਧਨ, ਵਕਤ ਦੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ, ਸਤਿਸੰਗ, ਨਾਮ, ਗੁਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਈਸ਼ਵਰ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਭਗਤੀ ਭਾਵ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਮ-ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਆਦਿ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ (ਸਾਫ਼) ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਰਾਮਚਰਿਤਮਾਨਸ ਵਿਚ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹਮਈ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਅਸਲੀ ਮਹਤੱਵ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

In his famous work, Ramcharitmanas, Goswami Tulsidas, an Indian saint-poet of the sixteenth century, has presented a unique blend of elegant poetry and profound spiritual wisdom, weaving the elements of spirituality into the theme of the favourite Indian story of Rama and Ravana. This book contains a lucid and inspiring treatment of almost all fundamental elements of spiritual teachings, such as the importance of human life, the entanglements of mind and maya, the need of a living master, satsang, Nam (name), love and devotion for the Guru and God, and the doctrine of karma.
