ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ

ਭਾਈ ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਜੀ (1551-1636 ਈ.) ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਭਾਗ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਉਹ ਇਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਕਵੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖਕ ਵੀ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਚਰਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Bhai Gurdas (1551-1636) was associated with four Sikh Gurus. His poetic skill was much appreciated by Guru Arjan Dev who noted that his writings would help the lay reader easily understand the teachings of the Gurus. Written in Punjabi by renowned scholar M.S. Joshi, this book has been translated into Hindi as well.
