ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਇਕ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ ਆਦਿ ਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸੰਤ ਮਹਾਤਮਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੋਣਵੀਂ ਬਾਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਮਹਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਜੀਵਨ ਚਰਿੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਪਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਸਾਵਣ ਸਿੰਘ (1858-1948) ਦੁਆਰਾ ਛਪਵਾਈ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

This book is a compilation of selected verses of some of the Sikh Gurus as well as some other mystics whose works comprise the Adi Granth. It provides a synopsis of the life of each of these mystics followed by selected verses by that mystic. This book was originally published in Gurumukhi by Maharaj Sawan Singh (1858-1948). This book has since been translated into Hindi as well.
