This book is based on the life and teachings of Hazrat Bu Ali Shah Qalandar, a famous sufi of Chishti lineage in India. The various aspects of his spiritual teachings are reflected in this book. He encourages us to lead a simple moral life and try to annihilate the ego. He emphasizes the importance of love and longing for the Lord to follow the spiritual path under the guidance of a murshid.
