यह पुस्तक गोस्वामी तुलसीदास जी द्वारा रचित रामचरितमानस का संक्षिप्त रूप है जिसमें तुलसीदास जी के आध्यात्मिक संदेश को रामकथा द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया है।इस कथा में परमात्मा के अवतार श्रीराम के रावण के साथ युद्ध का विवरण दिया गया है। रावण ने उनकी पत्नी सीता का अपहरण कर लिया था और उनको मुक्त कराने के लिए श्रीराम ने रावण से युद्ध किया।इस पुस्तक में तुलसीदास जी के आध्यात्मिक उपदेश से संबंधित महत्त्वपूर्ण काव्याँशों को बीच-बीच में उद्धृत किया गया है और रामकथा के आध्यात्मिक महत्त्व को उजागर करने के लिए टिप्पणियाँ भी दी गई हैं। रामचरितमानस में संपूर्ण मानवीय और ईश्वरीय गुणों से परिपूर्ण, प्रेम और करुणा के मूर्त्तरूप मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम प्रभुराम की अपार महिमा का गुणगान किया गया है। श्रीराम और उनके भक्तों के आपसी प्रेम की यह गाथा भक्ति साहित्य केसर्वाधिक सुंदर वृत्तांतों में से एक है।

This book is a condensed version of Tulsidas’s Ramcharitmanas, which presents the powerful tale of the Ramayana interwoven with Tulsidas’s mystical teachings. It tells the story of Ram, the Lord in human form, his wife Sita, and the battle to free Sita after she was kidnapped by Ravan. In this book significant parts of the epic are interspersed with verses giving Tulsidas’s spiritual message in both English and the Devanagri script, and commentaries are presented to reinforce and explain the spiritual import of the story. The Ramcharitmanas portrays the unfathomable splendour of Ram, the embodiment of profound love and compassion, a being both fully human and perfectly divine. The tale of the interplay of Ram and his devotees is one of the most beautiful accounts of all devotional literature.
