Throughout history, mystics have explained that the experience of true love is a feeling for which we lack even an imaginary understanding. But compelled by its bewitching spell, mystic lovers still attempt to express it in their writings. Persian Sufis are often considered unrivaled in their ability to pen the most beautiful poetic expressions of that divine Love.
